Spareribs And Sauerkraut Recipe
This makes moist and tender ribs with great flavor. I am a sucker for sauerkraut though, so I am biased.

Ingredients
  • 32 ounces sauerkraut, rinsed and drained.
  • 3 pounds country-style spareribs
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 6 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 tespoon caraway seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 10 slices of bacon
  • flour

Directions
  1. Place the rinsed and drained sauerkraut in a large 4-quart casserole.
  2. Add 2 quarts of hot water.
  3. Add uncooked spareribs, paprika, bouillon cubes, caraway seeds and pepper.
  4. Cook, covered, over low heat for 3-4 hours.
  5. Remove bones from sauerkraut.
  6. Coat bacon in flour and fry each slice.
  7. Break bacon into sauerkraut.
  8. Serve with good dark bread.
