Mexican Style Chicken Soup

- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 small onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, crushed shopping list
- 1/2 cup rotel tomatoes, pureed shopping list
- 1 can beef broth, undiluted shopping list
- 1 can chicken broth, undiluted shopping list
- 1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted shopping list
- 1 (6 3/4 oz) can style chunk chicken shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups water shopping list
- 1 tablespoon steak sauce shopping list
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 1 teaspoon chili powder shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon, pepper shopping list
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- paprika shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil and saute onion and garlic in a dutch oven.
- Add tomatoes, beef broth, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, and chunk style chicken, water, sauces, ground cumin, chili powder and pepper; bring to a boil.
- Cover; reduce heat and simmer 1 hour.
- Add cheese and simmer for 10 more minutes.
- sprinkle with paprika and serve with mexican chipa.
- Yields: 8 cups
- Also good with corn bread.
