Sanders Buttercream Icing Recipe
This is an excellent Icing, goes good on any cake, I guess it's that wonderful Eagle Brand Milk that makes it soooooo good.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb Butter
  • 10 level Tablespoon Crisco
  • 1 can Eagle Brand Milk
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla or almond flavoring

Directions
  1. Have the Butter at room temp.
  2. Beat Butter and Crisco together until creamy.
  3. Add the Eagle Brand Milk, beat on high till creamy.
  4. Add Powdered Sugar and flavoring, beat 3 more minutes

I would have to say a creamy fluffy type frosting, I think it would be good on a chocolate cake. Different flavor but I would say compare it to Cream Cheese Icing as for texture.
