Pecan Pie Bars Recipe

This is the pecan pie bar recipe I use. A bit different from the others posted - thought I'd share mine too! These are great.

Ingredients
- 2 c. unsifted flour
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c.. cold butter
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 ( 6oz. ) package toffee baking chips (like Heath)
- 1 c. chopped pecans (I chop mine pretty fine in processor)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine flour, sugar, then cut in butter until crumbly.
- Press mixture firmly on bottom of 9 x 13 pan, bake for 15 min.
- Meanwhile, beat sweetened condensed milk, the egg, and vanilla together.
- Stir in chips and pecans.
- Spread over partially baked crust and continue baking for 25 minutes.
- Cool, cut into bars and enjoy!
- My recipe says to use an ungreased pan, but I spray mine lightly with cooking spray.
