Blackberry Pickle

- 900g blackberries shopping list
- 675g caster sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp ground allspice shopping list
- 2 tbsp ground ginger shopping list
- 600ml white vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- Put the blackberries, caster sugar, ground allspice and ground ginger in a bowl and mix to combine all ingredients.
- Leave mixture to rest over night.
- Put the white vinegar in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
- Add the blackberry mixture to the white vinegar, reduce heat and cook gently for 20 minutes.
- Allow to cool and spoon into sterilized jars.
