Zucchini Oven Fries

- 2 medium zucchini shopping list
- 6 tablespoons low fat milk shopping list
- 2 egg whites shopping list
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs, can use seasoned shopping list
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon, or more, fresh ground pepper shopping list
- 4 tablespoons grated romano cheese shopping list

- Dippers: ranch dressing, seasoned sour cream, warm marinara sauce. shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 425°.
- Spray a rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray.
- Cut zucchini in half lengthwise and if the seeds are large, scoop out seeds and discard.
- Cut the zucchini into french fry type strips.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg whites and milk together.
- In a shallow dish, mix together bread crumbs, salt, pepper and cheese.
- Dip the zucchini strips into the egg white mixture until well coated.
- Dip the zucchini strips into the bread crumb mixture until well coated.
- Place the strips on the baking sheet leaving space between each stip.
- Bake about 6-7 minutes on each side.
- Handle gently with a spatula when turning so you don't lose any of the bread crumbs.
- Dippers: ranch dressing, seasoned sour cream, warm marinara sauce.
