Cocktail Meatballs

- Meatballs: shopping list
- 1 lb hamburger shopping list
- ½ c bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 t salt shopping list
- 1 t accent shopping list
- ¼ c milk shopping list
- 1 small onion, minced /onion flakes shopping list
- flour shopping list
- 2 T butter, butter Crisco or Nuco margarine shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- ¼ c molasses shopping list
- ¼ c vinegar shopping list
- ¼ c catsup shopping list
- ¼ t tobasco sauce shopping list
- ½ t marjoram shopping list
How to make it
- Mix together hamburger, bread crumbs, salt, accent, milk, and onion.
- Form into tiny balls.
- Meatballs:
- Roll in flour and brown in butter (1 used butter flavored Crisco, it doesn’t burn like butter does or Nuco Margarine, if available).
- Sauce:
- Combine molasses, tobasco sauce, vinegar, marjoram, and catsup.
- Pour over meatballs; simmer 10 minutes, stirring several times until meatballs are glazed.
- Yield: 60 meatballs at 4 per person.
