Ingredients
  • Salad:
  • 1 pkg. Imitation crab, shred
  • 2 T toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 sm. pkg cole slaw mix
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 pkg. Instant uncooked Nissen Ramen noodles, crumble
  • Dressing:
  • 2 T sugar
  • 2 T sesame oil
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 t dry mustard
  • 1 t MSG
  • white pepper to taste
  • 3 T vinegar or add to taste
  • ΒΌ c water

Directions
  1. Salad:
  2. Place crab meat in a large bowl.
  3. Toast the sesame seeds in a frying pan and remove from pan immediately as they will continue to brown.
  4. Add sesame seeds to crab meat.
  5. Add crumbled noodles.
  6. Add chopped green onions and stir to mix.
  7. Add the cole slaw and toss lightly.
  8. Refridgerate overnight so the flavors will blend and the noodles soften.
  9. Add dressing just before serving and toss.
  10. Note:
  11. You may want to add the dressing individually, if you don't have a large crowd.
  12. Leftovers will keep for at least 2 days in the refridgerator without the dressing on it.
  13. Dressing:
  14. Combine all ingrdients in a jar with lid.
  15. Shake well.
  16. Refridgerate.
  17. Shake dressing and add to salad just before serving.

I originally called this a cabbage salad, but it's more suitable to call it crab salad.
