How to make it

  • Wash, pit and quarter about 3lbs of apricots. Coarsely chop in food processor.
  • Place apricots, sugars, grated rind of the orange and the juice of the orange, pineapple and salt in pot.
  • Bring to boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
  • coook rapidly, keeping the boil, stirring constantly, until jam stage is reached (about 30-35 minutes).
  • Add jello and laddle into sterilized jars. Makes 5 pints.
