Apricot Jam

- 8 cups apricots pitted (sent through the food processor) shopping list
- 4 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 orange shopping list
- 1 cup crushed pineapple shopping list
- 1/8 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 pkg lemon jello shopping list
How to make it
- Wash, pit and quarter about 3lbs of apricots. Coarsely chop in food processor.
- Place apricots, sugars, grated rind of the orange and the juice of the orange, pineapple and salt in pot.
- Bring to boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
- coook rapidly, keeping the boil, stirring constantly, until jam stage is reached (about 30-35 minutes).
- Add jello and laddle into sterilized jars. Makes 5 pints.
