Ingredients
  • 8 pounds navy beans
  • 28 ounces ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 2 pounds dark brown sugar
  • 16 ounce bottle molasses
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 pounds boneless pork spare ribs
  • 2 white onions quartered

Directions
  1. Wash beans and place in large cooker then fill with water.
  2. Soak beans overnight with the cover on.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients eary the next morning then cook at 325 for 8 hours.
  4. Stir occasionally and add water as needed.
  5. These freeze well in plastic bags laid flat in the freezer.

Hmmm. As much as I like them, I don't think that 8 pounds of plain navy beans sounds delicious. Perhaps there are a few missing ingredients?
