Brandy Cheese Fondue

- 1 tablespoon butter, unsalted shopping list
- 1 small onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 tablespoon brandy shopping list
- 1 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 2 cups shredded swiss cheese shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- Dippers: baguette slices, broccoli and cauliflour florettes, carrot and celery sticks. shopping list
How to make it
- Position your oven rack to the center of the oven. Preheat oven to 350°.
- In a saucepan over medium-heat, melt butter.
- Add onion and cook, stirring often, until the onions are translucent.
- Remove from heat and stir in the Brandy.
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, swiss cheese, and parmesan cheese.
- Stir in onions and mix well.
- Transfer to a heat-proof 1 quart baking dish.
- At this point, you can cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate if making the day before. You'll just have to adjust the cooking time to accomodate the chilled dish.
- Bake until bubbly, about 30 minutes, and serve hot with dippers.
