How to make it

  • Soften yeast in warm water.
  • Combine all ingredients except onion garlic mixture then mix well.
  • Divide dough into 12 pieces then let sit 10 minutes.
  • Roll out on a lightly floured board.
  • Using both hands stretch each piece into a circular shape.
  • Heat vegetable oil in cast iron skillet.
  • Place each circle of dough in the hot grease.
  • Turn once when surface blisters and is lightly browned.
  • Place on paper towels then brush with some melted butter and sprinkle with onion garlic mixture.
