Dickens Estate Onion Garlic Elephant Ears Recipe
I have not tried these, but they sound really good to me. If anybody tries them please let me know how they turn out.

Ingredients
  • 1 package dry yeast
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder mixed with 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions
  1. Soften yeast in warm water.
  2. Combine all ingredients except onion garlic mixture then mix well.
  3. Divide dough into 12 pieces then let sit 10 minutes.
  4. Roll out on a lightly floured board.
  5. Using both hands stretch each piece into a circular shape.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in cast iron skillet.
  7. Place each circle of dough in the hot grease.
  8. Turn once when surface blisters and is lightly browned.
  9. Place on paper towels then brush with some melted butter and sprinkle with onion garlic mixture.
