Passionfruit Coconut Tart Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup dessicated coconut
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1/2 cup pl. flour
  • 4 eggs,beaten lightly
  • 11/3 cups milk
  • 125 g butter [1/2 cup] melted
  • 1/2 cup passionfruit pulp
  • 1 tbls. lemon juice
  • 2 tbls.icing sugar

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to moderate,180 or 160 fanforced[350&325 farenheit]
  2. Grease 24cm pie dish
  3. Combine coconut,sugar & flour in lge. jug;stir in combined egg , milk, butter, pulp and juice.
  4. Pour mixture into dish.Bake, uncovered 45--50 mins. til' set;cool in dish.Serve dusted with icing sugar
  5. May require more cooking time,play it by ear or finger
  6. 24.5g total fat [16.8 saturated] per serving,so have a smaller piece,once in a while won't hurt

What I like, tasty and easy.


I wish I could find passionfruits. I can find just about any other kind of exotic fruit.


Sorry you can't find them they are a common as backsides here but tastier. look forward to a new cooking mate..Barb ps but then again depends on the backside in question
