Ingredients

1 pound shelled deveined uncooked meduim size shrimp

2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix from a 1.25 oz package

3 garlic cloves minced

3 tablespoons lime juice

2 tablespoons oil

1 ripe avocado

12 taco shells

2 cups shredded lettuce

1 meduim tomatoe chopped

chunky salsa

Directions

Peel pit and dice the avocado in a small bowl

toss diced avocado with 1 tablespoon of the lime juice

cover until needed

in a medium bowl combine shrimp, taco seasoning, garlic and 2 tablespoons of lime juice

heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat until hot

Add shrimp mixture to skillet

cook and stir 3 to 4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink

remove shrimp from skillet to a warm plate

cook remaining juices for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until thickened

return shrimp to skillet and stir to cook in thickened juices spoon shrimp mixture into warmed taco shells

top with the lettuce avocado tomatoe and salsa
