Nutty Hot Cod fillets

- 2 1/4 lbs of cod fillets, fairly thick shopping list
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup of mayonnaise, good quality shopping list
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup of chopped pecans (ummmm, don't bother toasting in butter) and only if you are completely patient, pistachios (oh, the shelling!) shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of horseradish, scant amount shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt shopping list
- olive oil or butter (use those saved butter wrappers in your freezer) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Double wrap a cookie sheet with foil. LIghtly oil with a mild flavored oil or coat with a scant amount of butter.
- Place cod fillets on prepped pan.
- Mix mayonnaise, nuts, horseradish, and turmeric, and salt. Spread over the fish.
- Bake in hot oven for twenty minutes, until golden brown on top and bubbly. Serve with lemon wedges and cracked black pepper.
