Green Chile Puff

- 2 cans (4oz. each) whole green chiles shopping list
- 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded shopping list
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper shopping list
- guacamole shopping list
- sour cream shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.F
- Butter a 2-quart shallow casserole.
- drain chiles, rinse or scrape out seeds and cut into 1 inch strips.
- Arange chiles in the bottom of the casserole.
- Top chiles with the two cheeses, spreading each evenly.
- Mix eggs, flour, milk, salt and pepper until smooth.
- Pour egg mixture over the cheese evenly.
- Bake at 350.F for 35 to 40 minutes until puffed and slightly golden.
- Serve immediately with guacamole and sour cream .
