How to make it

  • Turn the oven on to 225 C / 425 F / Gas mark 7
  • Take the chicken meat off the bones and cut into smaller pieces (bite size). Put them in a ovenproof dish
  • Slice the bacon finely and fry them in a pan, then let them drain off excess fat on a piece of kitchen paper
  • Cut the mushrooms into small pieces anf fry them in a pan just for a minute
  • Mix the cream, creme fraiche and chili sauce (or ketchup) and pour over the chicken
  • Slice the bananas and put them on top of the chicken with the bacon and mushrooms
  • Gratinate in the oven for 15-20 minutes, when half the time has passed pour the peanuts over the dish
  • Serve with rice and a salad
