Spicy Sausage Vietnamese Meatballs Recipe
This is an awesome recipe. I obtained it from an estate sale a few years ago and couldn't believe how good the combination of flavors are. I serve this both as a main dish over pasta or as an appetizer. Oh so yummy.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground hot sausage
  • 1/2 small white onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped scallions
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 300.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
  3. Wet hands and roll the meat mixture into one-inch balls then place on square baking dish.
  4. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve warm with extra soy or fish sauce for dipping.
