This is an easy fudge recipe from a friend. It's been a huge hit wherever I take it. The only drawback is, there's never any leftovers to bring home!

Ingredients
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk (e.g. Pet or Carnation)
  • 1 12-oz. package of semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 7-oz. Kraft marshmellow creme
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions
  1. Grease a 9 x 13" glass (cake) dish with butter.
  2. Combine sugar, butter, and milk in 2 1/2 qt. sauce pan.
  3. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Continue boiling about 5 min. over medium heat. KEEP STIRRING.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips until melted.
  7. Add marshmallow creme and vanilla, and stir thoroughly.
  8. Pour into dish and spread evenly. Allow to cool/harden (best if refrigerated overnight).
  9. Cut into squares and enjoy!

I make this same recipe every year and give it away in holiday packages. I love this stuff! So creamy, not gritty at all.
