How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment.
  • Whisk flour, baking soda, cornmeal and salt together in a medium bowl. Mix butter and sugar together with electric mixer until pale and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Mix in eggs one at a time. Add flour mixture and stir until just combined. Stir in rosemary and craisins.
  • Using a tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough on lined sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake until pale golden, 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer to wire rack and let cool completely.

    these sound wonderful! I make a fennel cookie, and these sound like they'd go great beside them. Have an herbal sweet cookie platter.

    Doesn't rosemary's scent just make you happy? We grow it and sometimes I just brush it with my hand to carry the scent. A friend of mine recently baked something with rosemary and was raving that the flavor was subtle and divine.
