Pumpkin Bread Recipe
Spicey pumpkin bread that's good with breakfast, brunch, snacks, pot-lucks or any time. Pop a slice in the micro-wave for 20 seconds to enjoy it warm.

Ingredients
  • Cream:
  • 3 c sugar
  • 1 c oil
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • Add and mix well:
  • 1 large can pumpkin or 2 regular size
  • Mix the dry ingredients together and add alternately with water:
  • 2/3 c water
  • 3 ½ c plain flour
  • 2 t baking soda
  • 2 t salt (can leave out)
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1 t nutmeg, allspice, ginger
  • 2 t cinnamon
  • ½ t cloves

Directions
  1. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
  2. Bake 1/1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
  3. Test for doneness.
