How to make it

  • Boil raisins in water for 20 minutes. Drain and cool saving juice. Mix cookie ingredients adding water to raisin juice if needed to make 1/2 cup. Add raisins and spread very thin on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-15 minutes at 300 degrees. Frost while still warm.

    I have made these twice now, absolutely Delicious.. These are great for low blood sugars as well. These don't last long in my home. Gone same day I bake.

    I love raisin bars & this looks great. Turn your heads I'm adding the icing. I can't resist raisin bars without any. Michelle have one with & forget all those calories for just a moment in time!!!You'll be glad you did.

    Just finished making these! They are very good. To cut back on calories I didn't put the icing on it, I just sifted a little powdered sugar over the top when they were cool. Will make again!
