Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey

1 medium onion, diced

2 T. butter

1 t. salt

1/4 t. pepper

1 1/2 T. chili powder

1 x 4 1/2 oz. can sliced olives

2 x 8 oz. cans tomato sauce

12 corn tortillas, lightly buttered

2 c. grated Sharp Chedder cheese (1/2 c. is for topping)

2/3 c. water

Directions

Brown onion and ground beef or turkey in butter. Drain fat.

Add seasoning, olives and tomato sauce.

Butter bottom of 9 x 12 pan.

Layer 3 tortillas to cover bottom of pan.

Spread 1/4 of meat sauce over tortillas, then sprinkle with 1/4 of the cheese.

Repeat with 3 more layers of tortillas, meat and cheese.

Pour the water over and around tortillas.

Cover with foil and bake at 400 for 30 minutes.

Serve with sour cream and salsa, if desired.

I didn't have photo when I posted this recipe. Apparantly someone who didn't like it was able to post that gross picture. I changed the photo today.
