This is my fave homemade salsa that my hubby's aunt makes.

Ingredients
  • 2 large tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 c. finely chopped cilantro
  • 1 pkt. salsa mix(I don't follow the directions on the pkt as I just go by my taste on flavors)
  • 1 tsbp minced garlic
  • 1 (15-oz.) can diced tomato
  • 2 jalapeno, minced with seeds
  • dash hot pepper sauce, if desired
  • 1 T. lemon juice

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients, serve with chips or use as taco, burrito topping.
  2. Let it sit in fridge for couple of hours before serving.
  3. *To make it extra HOT, add 2 Habanero peppers, finely chopped with seeds.
