Ukranian Pickled Beets

- 72 hours 15 minutes (72 hrs prep, 20 min cooking) shopping list
- 8 servings shopping list
- 2 (14 ounce) cans rosebud beets, drained but keeping 2/3 cup shopping list
- liquid reserved shopping list
- 1 cup vinegar shopping list
- 1 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon whole allspice shopping list
- 4 cloves shopping list
- 1/3 stick cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Mix beet liquid, vinegar, sugar, salt and spices in a saucepan
- and bring to a boil.
- Add beets and return to a boil, then remove from the heat.
- Transfer beets to a jar and cover with liquid.
- Marinate in refrigerator for 2 to 3 days, then serve.
