Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a large saucepan combine blueberies and sugar. Cook on medium-low until sugar is dissolved.
  • Add nutmeg and stir.
  • Add cornstarch mix and raise the heat to medium-high and bring to boil, stirring constantly until thickened.
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  • Meanwhile, in a large bowl combine flour, sugar, almonds, butter, and egg.
  • Beat at low with an electric mixer until well mixed.
  • Stir in rolled oats.
  • Press half of this mixture into greased 9x9 baking pan.
  • Spread blueberry filling over the crust then crumble the remaining half of the flour mixture over the filling.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool before cutting then refrigerate leftovers. (if there are any!)
