How to make it
- Put the abalone into a small saucepan and add water.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
- Add Sake and sugar and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce and continue to cook for 2 to 3 more minutes.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Cut the abalone into 1/2 inch thick slices and serve.
