Oven Fried Chicken Casserole Recipe
This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Kilgore Estate in Sachse, Texas in 1988.

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2/3 cup all purpose baking mix
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1-1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 pound fryer cut up

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 425.
  2. Melt butter in rectangular pan.
  3. Combine baking mix, paprika, salt and pepper then coat chicken.
  4. Place skin sides down in pan then bake for 35 minutes.
  5. Turn chicken pieces and bake 15 minutes longer.

Yum, this is the recipe on the Bisquick box. :) I use it all the time for thighs and drums for the kids, they love it. Nice and crispy.
I sometimes throw in other seasonings like Italian or Greek blends...
