Tex-Mex Taco Meat Filling

- 1 pound ground beef shopping list
- 2 tablespoons minced onion shopping list
- 2 tablespoons Tex-Mex taco seasoning Mix; * See Recipe shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
How to make it
- Brown lean ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Continue browning the meat until all the water has cooked away.
- Add the onions. Sauté until onion softened.
- Stir in the Taco Seasoning Mix (see recipe) and add 1/4 cup of water.
- Reduce heat and simmer 4-5 minutes, or until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Remove fro heat and drain any excess fat.
