Salmon Patties Recipe

Salmon Patties Recipe
This is an old-fashioned sort of meal best served with mashed potatoes adn peas. Some people prefer red sockeye salmon, but I prefer pink.

I make mine a little different but these sound yummy too, I'll have to share mine with the group soon and let you test them, lol. Thanks for sharing.

I make mine with a very similar recipe but use flour instead of crackers. Always good and I serve em with creamed peas and usually homemade mac/cheese too

I make mine with a similar recipe too and serve either mashed potatoes or mashed potato cakes, green beans or green peas,Actually I haven't made any lately because I love onions in mine but I haven't been getting along with onions very well lately. LOL

I made this tonight with peas and carrots and mashed potatoes; VERY easy and good! I made several modifications: added Old Bay seasoning and instead of flour to coat the patties, I used Zataran's Fish Fry....Yummm!!! Thanks for sharing!

Ground beef, cheese

Sounds good! I never remember how to make them and end up following a different recipe every time. So today I'm trying this one. Yum!

I always leave the skin and bones in, though. I just crush the soft bones a bit with a fork as I'm mixing. They're perfectly edible and loaded with calcium. =)

Yummy, I love salmon patties.I make mine this way but I add onions

Made these a few weeks ago for supper. My hubby LOVED them! Used this recipe as the base, then added in some salt, pepper, lemon juice, parsley flakes, and onions. It turned out delicious! Thanks for posting this recipe! (Also, I added in an extra egg, because it wasn't sticking together that great...)

These sound great to me. I love salmon patties.

I love making salmon patties. Always thought they were so hard to make..but they are super easy. Unlike most of you, and my mother, we eat ours in a bun with onions and lettuce.. or what-have-you. I also wanted to say.. that to Robyns.. eating the skin and bones sounds so gross.. and I prefer my calcium from milk. Eeeks.
I will try the flour teq from this recipe. Cool and never thought to.

This is the way I used to make salmon patties, but over the years I have not made them. Want to try them tonight. Will let you know how it tastes/turns out after all the years I have not made them. LOL.
Thanks for sharing.
