- Flaky Pastry shopping list
- 2 C flour shopping list
- 1 C shortening shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp salt ice water shopping list
- Have all materials ice-cold. Sift flour & salt. Blend the shortening into the flour; add enough ice water, very slowly, to hold dough together. Chill 1/2 hour or more. roll to 1/4 to 1/8-inch thick and line pie plate. shopping list

- 3 C flour shopping list
- 1 C brown sugar shopping list
- 3/4 C butter shopping list
- Mix all ingredients, rubbing together with hands - not smooth, but in small rivels. shopping list
- Liquid shopping list
- 1 C molasses shopping list
- 1 C hot water shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda, dissolved in a few drops of vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- In another bowl, mix molasses with hot water. Stir in baking soda mixture. Can divide liquid among 3 small pies, putting 1/3 among each. Over this, sprinkle crumbs.
- Opional: Sprinkle this with chocolate chips; top with dots of marshmallow (I'll find the recipe); top with whipped cream after baking
- Bake 1/2 hour in moderate oven, 350 degrees
