Bourbon Laced Tipsy Chicken With Peaches

- 4 chicken breast halves shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 large onion finely chopped shopping list
- 1 teaspoon paprika shopping list
- 6 green onions chopped including green part shopping list
- 1/2 cup orange juice shopping list
- 2 tablespoons bourbon shopping list
- 1 cup chopped fresh peaches shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper then place in rectangular baking pan and set aside.
- In medium skillet melt butter over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and cook stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.
- Add paprika and all but 1 tablespoon of the green onions.
- Continue to cook stirring occasionally for 4 minutes.
- Spread onion mixture evenly over chicken then spoon orange juice and bourbon over top.
- Bake for 30 minutes turning and basting occasionally.
- Remove chicken from oven and spoon peaches over top and sprinkle with nutmeg.
- Return to oven for 20 minutes longer.
- Remove chicken from pan and place on serving dish then pour juices over top.
- Garnish with the remaining green onions and serve immediately.
