Ingredients

How to make it

  • Spray a 9x13 pan with non stick cooking spray.
  • Line with buttered bread slices.
  • Brush melted butter on the bread.
  • Brown the sausage and sprinkle over the bread.
  • Combine the eggs, salt, pepper, mustard and half & half and pour over the sausage.
  • Top the whole thing with cheese.
  • Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  • Bake in a 350 over for 45 minutes to an hour.

    this sounds SO delectable..and it's not even the recipe I was searching for! (I'm trying to find the one for the crescent-roll dough breakfast "log" I guess I'd call it -- sausage, onions, bell peppers, cheese, all rolled up in the crescent roll..baked until done, sliced, and served..great potluck dish! I fell in love with it a few years ago when I lived in Detroit..one of my co-workers brought it in & I was just SOOO hooked!)

    Hmm...it's been so long since I made it, I'm beginning to wonder if it was canned biscuits instead of crescents...
