My Own Mexican Cheese Dip Oolala

- OKAY HERE GOES!! (Builds your muscles cause you stir alot) shopping list
- 1-1/2 pounds Velveeta cheese, cut into 2-inch pieces shopping list
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter shopping list
- 2 heaping tablespoons flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1 can Original Ro-tel tomatoes and green chilies (can use mild or hotter) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- Of course you can make it hotter with more black pepper or red pepper shopping list
How to make it
- In large bowl, melt butter in microwave, watch it or it will blow! : )
- When melted, remove and add flour, stirring
- Add milk, stir, then add can of Ro-tel, stir
- Add ground cumin, black pepper, and garlic powder, stir
- Return to microwave again for about 1 minute, or more
- Remove, stir, and add cheese
- Return to microwave and cook, watching closely, and removing frequently to stir
- Continue until cheese is melted
- Remove from microwave when it thickens
- Stir again, (see, I told you that you stir alot!)
- Cheese dip is ready for "dipping" when it is creamy and smooth
- ENJOY, ENJOY
- NOTE: Cumin, black pepper, and garlic powder can be adjusted for individual taste

I also make it but the same as msolerebel, must go to the extra work and make it your way because this is a great dip and we can all use the extra arm exercises as we get older LOL
