How to make it

  • Microwave method:
  • Microwave butter in 4-quart microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) 1
  • minute or until melted. Add sugar and milk; mix well. Microwave on HIGH
  • 5 minutes or until mixture begins to boil, stirring after 3 minutes. Mix well; scrape bowl. Continue microwaving on HIGH 5 1/2 minutes; stir after 3 minutes. Stir in chips until melted. Add marshmallow cream and food coloring and mix. Add lemon extract and mix well. Pour into greased 9-inch square pan or 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • Cool at room temperature; cut into squares. Makes 3 pounds.

    King Arthur Flour no longer has lemon baking chips. But I did find them here:

    Along with cherry chips, cappuccino chips, and orange dreamsickle wafers. Yum!!! All different kinds of fudge!

    this sounds wonderful.. I'm one of those people who can't have chocolate but lemon is one of my favorites.. will have to give this a try.

    Lemon fudge!!! I've never heard of it but my mouth is watering like crazy thinking about it! Great post!
