This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Azato Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1987.

Ingredients
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup apple juice divided
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1-1/2 cups plain croutons
  • 1 medium apple chopped
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 and lightly great a baking dish.
  2. Arrange chicken breasts in single layer in prepared dish.
  3. Combine 1/4 cup apple juice, salt and pepper in small bowl then brush over chicken.
  4. Combine croutons, apple, onion, raisins, sugar, curry, seasoning and garlic powder.
  5. Toss with remaining 3/4 cup apple juice.
  6. Sprinkle crouton mixture over chicken.
  7. Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes.
