How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 300.
  • Toss together almonds and sugar then stir in egg whites until well mixed.
  • Bake on a lightly greased sheet pan at 300 turning occasionally until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and break up slightly.
  • Cut all fruit in quarters and remove seeds.
  • In large bowl stir together honey, brown sugar, red wine and cinnamon.
  • Toss with fruit and place in a baking dish and roast for 30 minutes at 400.
  • Garnish with glazed almonds.
