How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition
  • In bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt
  • Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beating well after each addition.
  • Stir in almond extract.
  • Spread half of the mixture in greased, floured bundt pan
  • Spoon half of the cranberry sauce on batter
  • Spread evenly, add remainder of creamed mixture over cranberry sauce
  • Sprinkle with pecans
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until done
  • Cool slightly and drizzle with glaze
  • GLAZE
  • Mix powdered sugar, almond extract, and water until smooth
  • I HAVE SERVED THIS AT BREAKFAST, BRUNCH, AND AS A DESSERT
