Ice Box Pudding Recipe
This recipe is compliments of High Hampton Hospitality.....This has to chill for at least 24 hours..

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cakes German sweet chocolate
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 3 tablespoons confectioners sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla or almont extract
  • 1 teaspoon powdered coffee
  • 2 packages ladyfingers
  • 1 cup whipped cream

Directions
  1. Melt the chocolate in the water and confectionsers sugar.
  2. Separate the eggs, adding the yolks to the chocolate mixture.
  3. Beat the whites until stiff and fold into mixture.
  4. flavor with almond and the powdered coffee.
  5. In plate used to serve (must have sides at least 3 inches deep), place the lady fingers around in the upright position.
  6. Then cover bottom of dish with lady fingers.
  7. Pour mixture into dish.
  8. Refrigerate 24 hours.
  9. Before serving, cover with whipped cream..

Oh yeah - chocolate, lady fingers, coffee flavor...I'm all over this one. Man, we all need to open a cafe and just prepare all of these wonderful recipes so we can taste them all (would there be any left to sell?!?!?).
