Ingredients
  • 1 cup buckwheat flour
  • 1/2 cup high-gluten flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup low-fat soy milk
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • 4 tsp hazelnut oil
  • 3 tbsp apple butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp Frangelico liqueur
  • 2/3 cup warm (not hot) Vanilla-Hazelnut flavoured coffee
  • 1/2 cup Gianduia chocolate chunks (I reccomend Caffarel Gianduja Bitter)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. In large bowl whisk dry ingredients well.
  3. In a separate bowl, stir together soy milk, oils, apple butter, honey, Frangelico and coffee.
  4. Whisk wet ingredients into the dry until just blended.
  5. Fold in chocolate chunks.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, cool completely in pan.

These sound amazing. I LOVE chocolate and hazelnut together. And honey, too? Oh man, I am drooling!


Jo jo ba these are way different!! a lot more expensive and decedent but they still sound very very good. I've never used hazelnut oil. I like the addition of the apple butter also.
