This sauce is low in calories, but rich in flavor. It is excellent over vanilla frozen yogurt. Also can add a few jalapenos, small can of crushed pineapple, makes a salsa too!

Because of this state of ripeness, I decided not to use the sugar and used fresh ginger instead of candied (also thinking that I might want to use the sauce on something more savory than sweet). It is INCREDIBLE! In about 9 minutes or so I'll be enjoying it with some plain yogurt and am really looking forward to it!
