Camarones Enchilados Cuban shrimp in sauce

- 2 lbs. shrimp shopping list
- vinegar shopping list
- ½ cup olive oil shopping list
- 1 onion shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic shopping list
- 1/3 teaspoon of red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1 (8 oz.) can of tomato sauce shopping list
- ½ cup vino seco (dry white wine) shopping list
- 1 tbsp. vinegar shopping list
- 1 ½ tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp. Tabasco (or to taste) shopping list
- 1 large roasted red pepper, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Clean shrimp with white vinegar and water bath,
- Sauté the shrimp in olive oil for 2 minutes.
- Add in the finely chopped onion and garlic, sauté for about 5 minutes.
- Add in the tomato sauce, dry white wine, vinegar and Tabasco.
- Cover and cook on low heat for about 20 minutes.
- Uncover, remove from heat and add salt, pepper, and pimentos.
