Butterscotch Oaties Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • In a large bowl combine butterscotch chips & butter & melt in microwave for 45 sec to 1 minute or until smooth. (I updated this from the old double boiler method they used)
  • In a small bowl mix the boiling water with the baking soda
  • Add to the butterscotch mixture
  • Gradually blend in remaining ingredients
  • Drop by slightly rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet
  • Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until tops are set
  • Makes 4 - 5 dozen
  • Enjoy!
