How to make it

  • In a metal mixing bowl combine the vinegar, peppers, garlic and cilantro
  • Add the juice of one lime, and stir with a fork
  • Add the onion and the tomato
  • Add 1/2 of the remaining lime, stir
  • If needed, add remaining lime
  • Add salt to taste
  • Stir, cover and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour to allow the flavors to blend.
  • Serve with chips, or as a garnish for any food that could use some spice

    My husband LOVES this salsa-and its hard to impress him when it comes to cooking...thanks-now its my "little secret" ha ha! It also tastes awesome with yellow and orange tomatoes
