How to make it

  • Melt butter and brown sugar in a flat chafing dish or attractive skillet.
  • Add bananas in a single layer and saute' turning once until tender .. about 5 minutes
  • aprinkly with cinnamon
  • Pour in rum and banana lequeur.
  • Ignite with a match... while standing back... remove from heat and baste bananas until flam burns out.
  • Serve at once with vanilla ice cream or sweetened whipped cream.
  • This one never goes out of style...
