Cinnamon Pudding Recipe
This is a cinnamony, sugary cake that can be topped with whipped cream, or served plain.

Ingredients
  • SYRUP:
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1-1/2 c. water
  • 2 or 3 T. margarine or butter
  • CAKE:
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 2 T. margarine
  • 2 t. cinnamon
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 t. baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • TOPPING:
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions
  1. Put syrup ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
  2. Beat cake ingredients until light and fluffy, and pour into a greased 9 x 11 inch pan. Sprinkle with nuts, and pour warm syrup all over it.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
  4. Serve with whipped cream.
