Easy to make tomato sauce! Don't ever buy sauce in a jar again!

Ingredients
  • 2 packages grape tomatoes
  • 12 garlic cloves, unpeeled
  • 10 basil leaves
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • cookie tray with edges or any baking dish
  • Your favorite pasta!

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. arrange all the grape tomatoes on tray
  3. place garlic cloves to one side of tray
  4. chop basil leaves and spreak over tomatoes
  5. sprinkle salt and pepper over tomatoes
  6. add olive oil to tomatoes and garlic, making sure you have sprinkled oil on all tomatoes and garlic.
  7. Place tray in oven for 25 minutes
  8. Once complete take out garlic and place on cutting board.
  9. Remove the outside layer of all cloves.
  10. Spread all the garlic cloves with wide knife, making a paste.
  11. Place this paste at bottom of bowl where you will place the pasta.
  12. NOTE: if you haven't started boiling your pasta, do so!]
  13. Take a potato masher and mash all the grape tomatoes together, tasting to see if you need to add more salt and pepper.
  14. After your pasta has boiled, take about 1 Cup of the pasta water and add to the garlic paste in your bowl, and beat in with a fork.
  15. Add the mashed tomatoes to the bowl.
  16. Drain your pasta.
  17. Add pasta to the bowl and enjoy!
