This is a great spread for those upcoming holidays. It's super easy to make, looks and tastes very good

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg(8 ozs.) softened cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups(6 oz.) shredded swiss cheese
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1 can (6 oz.) crabmeat, drained,flaked and cartilage removed(use fresh crab if you can)!
  • 3 tblsps finely chopped green onions, divided
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • Assorted crackers

Directions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the first five ingredients.
  2. Stir in the crab and 2 tblsps. onions.
  3. Spread into an ungresed 9-in. pie plate
  4. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes or until heated through.
  5. Sprinkle with almonds and remaining onions.
  6. Serve with crackers.

Love the way this one sounds... never get tired of crab meat..


Another new appetizer to try - I'm gonna have to have lots of parties this holiday season, because I have at least 100 new recipes I want to try! This sounds really, really tasty, michelle!!
