How to make it

  • Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil then add chilies and stock.
  • Stir in salt and pepper.
  • Dissolve flour in hot water and add to mixture stirring to prevent lumps.
  • Simmer for 45 minutes.

    I LOVE this recipe. I buy fresh chiles in the fall, roast them and freeze them - that way I can enjoy this all winter long. It tastes really great with Quorn chik'n tenders (vegeatrian) which make it extra hearty. Thanks SO much for this recipe!

    I usually cover partially for the first 20 minutes then remove lid during last 25 minutes. Enjoy
