How to make it

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter. Coat the chicken breasts in the flour and saute in the butter, turning until cooked thru. Add the garlic. Remove the chicken to the platter and keep warm. Add the almonds and Amaretto to the skillet and cook for 1 minute. Add the cream and heat. Pour the sauce over the chicken.

    Not sure what people see in this. My first clue should have been when it said to add a 1/4 cup of butter to a skillet and fry up 6 breast halves. Then add garlic.
    Do you add the garlic to the chicken while cooking, or after wards before the almonds and amaretto?
    The sauce tasted like heavy whipping cream that I still cant get the taste out of my mouth. Nothing like heated heavy whipping cream on the pallet. I had to more than double the amaretto just to kill the heavy cream flavor.
    I'm not a chef, but this recipe is one of the worst I've ever made. Wasted time and ingredients. threw most of it away.

    I have made this recipe several times for different meetings. Now I keep getting request for it. Very good and so easy to make. So glad I found it.
